Saturday's are lazy days for me. My better half Jeff works on a Saturday and this is my day where I do odd jobs around our flat, read, knit and just be me. I am busy knitting a blanket for our two precious cats (Tom & Ally). I have one more square to go and then I can stitch the squares together. They are anxiously awaiting the finished product so that they can lie on it.

Hello Everyone

Well this is a surprise! I was supposed to be hard at work doing my postings for April when my little mind started wandering as it inevitably does and I went surfing on the web instead. Whilst looking at nothing in particular, I thought of blogging. My friend has a wonderful website in which she shares her life and her teddy bears to quite a few people. Her idea was to share her world with her granchildren who are scattered around the world. I thought that was such a lovely idea. I don't have grandchildren, but have two grown up children living in the UK. I wonder what they would think of their mom if I told them they could follow my ups and downs, joys and sorrows and just life in general with me. Maybe I could get them to join me instead of living in Facebook and sending people stupid jokes and silly drinks...... I will just have to wait and see.
